Orphanage Fundraiser

It all started when…

Recently, Sister Teresa whom operates an orphanage in a small farming village of Đức Mạnh, which is situated on the boarder of Vietnam and Cambodia, reached out to SOF asking for assistance.

Sister Teresa was fortunate enough to secure funding to begin construction on a new orphanage to cater for the increasing number of orphans and disabled children left to the care of the convent. However, due to the global COVID19 pandemic, the funding has been exhausted and the project has come to a halt.

Progress so far:

2016 - The need for a bigger home for the children was realised

June 2019 - Initial funding was secured and the design phase began.

Feb 2020 - Construction began and ground was broken.

May 2020 - Construction halted due to COVID19 and funding exhausted.

How can you help?

$20 will provide 10 bricks

$50 will provide 25 bricks or lights for one room

$75 will provide a table and chairs

$125 will provide whiteboards

$250 will provide a window

Any donation, great or small will be greatly appreciated and 100% of funds raised will be provided directly to the convent in the construction of the orphanage.
