Our Goals
To initiate and support community outreach programs that provide dental services to underserved or disadvantaged populations who do not have regular access to dental care
To promote and support dental health education initiatives to increase awareness and understanding of dental health problems affecting large segments of populations, and to provide dental, medical treatments and infrastructure to the communities
To encourage and support volunteerism within the profession by funding programs that allow dentists to give back to their communities
To support dental research in academic and community settings to advance understanding of oral diseases and health problems
To support professional education and promote careers through grants of scholarships to worthy programs and applicants in Australia and overseas
To contribute to the development of health in young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual potentials as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities
To provide food and accommodation for the needy and poor people including but not limited to the homeless, the disadvantaged and elderly people in emergencies; and to provide financial assistance for orphaned and disadvantaged children
