Continuing our mission in this critical time

As the events of 2020 unfolds before us, we see the catastrophic impacts of the pandemic on everyone across the world. To add on top of that, the underserved and disadvantaged communities in central Vietnam that Smile Outreach supported previously are currently experiencing tragedies as the result of ravaging floods from typhoon Molave. The humanitarian crisis that has emerged is devastating. Now is a critical time for us to continue our mission to not only provide free dental service to those in need but to also reach out to them through our charitable work as well.

Our local volunteers are ready

Our dedicated team of local volunteers comprises of:

• 20 doctors

• 14 support staff

• 6 nurses

• 3 dentist

• 2 pharmacists

We are intending to provide the below services:

• General medical examination

• Gynaecological

• Dental

• Paediatric

• Physiotherapy

• Ultrasound

• Electrocardiogram

• Blood test

How you can help

The most practical support we are asking for are donations so that we can provide our local team with funds for their mission. These funds will mainly be used to purchase supplies and manage logistics. Any additional funding will be given to those very communities that we are helping with basic necessities such as food and accommodation.

We understand that the pandemic has impacted all of us in one way or another. In these difficult times, not all of us are in a position to give what little we have. Any amount, no matter how large or small, will collectively make a huge impact.

How your contribution helps

Your contribution will be going towards the medicinal cost of approximately $5,500 and $3,500 to support around 300 families with basic needs like shelter and food.
